Amber Rose has thrown her support to Blac Chyna following her breakup with Rob Kardashian. The model – who once dated Rob’s brother-in-law Kanye West – has insisted that Blac didn’t have an ulterior motive for getting into the doomed relationship.
Speaking on Everyday Struggle, Amber explained:
Chyna is an amazing mum. She’s an amazing person. She’s extremely loving. I was around when her and Rob first met, and I’ll tell you first hand that they very much loved each other. I watched it.
Rob and Blac welcomed daughter Dream together in November 2016, just months after they began dating. Even though the baby was born so soon into the relationship, Amber is adamant that Blac isn’t guilty of ‘entrapment’ like others have suggested. Amber added: “You know, people look at Chyna and they just go, ‘Oh she got Rob’s everything – child, she’s taking Rob’s money’. She’s not that type of person, and neither am I. People fail to realise me and Chyna got money, we’re straight.”
Rob and Blac’s whirlwind romance turned sour earlier this year after countless spats, many of which were seen on their reality show ‘Rob and Chyna’. After breaking-up, the animosity between the pair reached boiling point when Rob accused Blac of numerous affairs during a foul-mouthed tirade on Instagram and Twitter earlier this month. Reality star Rob also posted explicit pictures of his ex – in the process landing himself in hot water with the law. The harassment led to Blac being granted a restraining order against Rob.
According to reports, Rob hung his head in shame when he was confronted by his famous family – including sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe – over the social media posts. Rob later issued an apology to Blac via his attorney Robert Shapiro.
Mr Shapiro said:
I, personally, on Mr Kardashian’s behalf apologised and offered our regrets as to what happened in the past couple of days. Now we move forward to do one thing and one thing only, what ever is in the best interest of the child.
While this story is developing by the day, it’s clear that Amber has got her best friend’s back and isn’t afraid of showing her support in public.
