It all began in London, sixty three years ago where the first Miss World Beauty pageant was held in the hectic capital city. Since then, billions of viewers from around the globe have tuned in year after year to support their favourites and this year has been no exception. The Miss World Competition has returned to London where the beautiful and intelligent women representing their countries, are in the midst of preparing themselves for the Big Final on Sunday 14th December 2014, at the Excel centre, in Docklands.
Miss Seychelles 2014 winner, Camila Estico, has enthralled spectators throughout the entire competition. She has striking looks, eloquence, and a graceful elegance that makes her a favourite to reach the final.
On 9th December 2014, Camila was amongst 14 Quarterfinalists of the Miss World Talent Show who performed at the Miss World 2014 Friends and Family Christmas Dinner. Camila’s dance captivated the audience and she received a standing ovation.
Camila Estico has been busy campaigning her ‘Back to Basic’ project which is geared towards fighting obesity and promoting healthy living amongst the youth in Seychelles. Before departing for the UK in November, Miss Estico had the following to say about her country: ‘This pageant I dedicate to my country and the people of Seychelles. If the nation rallies behind me, I am confident that I can make extra miles in this event.’
