Pétion-Ville is primarily an affluent residential and tourist suburb of Port-au-Prince in Haiti which was founded in 1831. It is a more opulent area in the country where many multi-cultural Haitians live.
The hillside suburban town is filled with nightclubs, beauty salons, fitness gyms and restaurants; businesses commonly cater to tourist. Karibe Hotel is an example of the decadent luxury hotels that are situated in Petion-Ville, the palm like trees in the terrace and the layout of the architecture of the building leaves tourists in awe by its beauty. Galerie D’Art Nader (above picture) is another popular attraction in Petion-Ville, it displays huge varieties of wonderful Haitian Art exhibiting sensational colours.
