Lost Bayou Ramblers – Mammoth Waltz

The Lost Bayou Ramblers from Pilette, Louisiana, recorded “Mammoth Waltz” at Dockside Studios in Maurice, LA. This album features numerous star guest appearances from, the Violent Femmes’s Gordon Gano to actress Scarlett Johansson. With this album Lost Bayou Ramblers alter the recipe for a traditional Cajun dance music by adding more of punk, folk, and rock and roll elements. The album was recorded entirely in French.
