Notre Dame Cathedral in Port-au-Prince was an exquisite building entailing detail to an old fashion structure yet still maintaining a stylish ornamentation. The public cathedral had a reoccurring starry-eyed feel, at all times of the day and at night it was filled with people taking idealistic strolls down the beautiful land, merchants selling sweet fruit and students enjoying a quick snack in their breaks.
Sadly, in the 2010 earthquake that shook Haiti in a harrowing way, also ended up destroying the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral leaving it looking crumbled and incomplete.
